Job Description

Dishwasher / Kitchen Support C'est Si Bon, Port Angeles, WA C'est Si Bon is a newly reimagined, maximalist event venue and culinary destination on the Olympic Peninsula. We host lounge nights open to the public and private events such as weddings, themed parties, corporate retreats, and unforgettable dining experiences, with a kitchen team that takes pride in quality, creativity, and flow. We are looking for two very part-time Dishwasher / Kitchen Support team members to help keep our kitchen running smoothly during private events and lounge nights. Position Overview The Dishwasher / Kitchen Support is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient dish area and kitchen; supporting the culinary team with cleaning, organizing and basic kitchen tasks; and helping ensure smooth service during busy periods. This role works closely with the Chef and kitchen staff. Key Responsibilities Dishwashing & Cleaning
  • Operate the commercial dishwasher efficiently and safely.
  • Wash, sanitize, and properly store all dishes, glassware, utensils, cookware, and small equipment.
  • Keep dish room clean, organized, and free of clutter.
  • Take out garbage.
  • Maintain cleanliness of floors, sinks, counters, and kitchen surfaces in dish room and kitchen. Kitchen Support
  • Refill stations with cookware, clean dishes, glassware, and utensils during service.
  • Help keep the dry storage and back-of-house spaces tidy.
  • Follow kitchen cleaning checklist and help with kitchen deep cleaning.
  • Take out garbage. Safety & Teamwork
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards.
  • Communicate with kitchen staff during peak moments, this role helps keep service flowing.
  • Maintain a positive, respectful attitude; we are a small team and work closely together.
  • Support event breakdown and closing clean-up as needed.
  • Track supplies needed to effectively do your job and let owner and chef know when it's time to reorder. Skills & Qualifications
  • Ability to work efficiently to keep up with dish flow.
  • Good organizational habits.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and be on your feet during shifts.
  • Ability to work in a warm, wet area.
  • Willingness to learn kitchen standards and systems.
  • Reliable, showing up on time and ready to work is essential.
  • Has or has the ability to get or maintain their Washington State Food Handler's Card.
  • No previous kitchen experience required.
  • We are happy to train motivated applicants who want to learn.
  • Must arrive fit for duty, free from impairment, and may not consume alcohol or use illegal drugs while on shift or anywhere on the premises. Staff may enjoy an alcoholic beverage after their shift has ended, but illegal drugs are never permitted on-site. Schedule & Hours
  • Ideal for someone seeking part-time work initially, hours will vary during our opening phase and early months until the venue is running on a steady schedule.
  • Until the venue is running on a steady schedule, hours are not guaranteed and will continue to vary based on business levels, reservations, and event bookings.
  • Suitable for individuals wanting occasional, part-time, or potentially future full-time work as the venue grows, there is room for different types of availability.
  • Staff who have multiple skills and can support different areas of the venue may receive more hours, depending on where coverage is needed at any given time.
  • Hours and staffing needs may expand as business volume increases as well as during holiday and summer seasons.
  • Weekend and evening availability required, but we will schedule around other part-time jobs and personal commitments with clear communication.
  • Time off can be requested as needed. Compensation
  • Starting at $17.50/hour, with higher pay available once our business is steady.
  • Occasional shift meal when Chef is available to cook.
