Responsibilities Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning techniques and sanitizing procedures Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas meet sanitation standards Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and prep work Support bussing duties by clearing tables and ensuring dining areas remain tidy Operate dishwashing machines and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Follow food safety management protocols to prevent cross-contamination and ensure proper food handling practices Adhere to all kitchen health and safety standards, including manual handling procedures and sanitation regulations Skills Strong understanding of food safety sanitizing procedures and sanitation standards Experience with dishwashing, cleaning, and basic food handling in a restaurant or food service environment Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Knowledge of food preparation techniques and basic knife skills for assisting with prep work Physical stamina for heavy lifting, prolonged standing, and manual handling tasks Excellent attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards Good communication skills to work effectively within a team environment Join us in delivering exceptional service by ensuring our kitchen remains spotless, safe, and ready for every culinary challenge!
