El Gaucho Vancouver is seeking Dishwashers to join our growing team!

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher with a passion for hospitality to join our team. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our kitchen and dishroom maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and organization. You will be responsible for washing and storing dishes and kitchen utensils, maintaining cleanliness in accordance with restaurant and health department standards, and complying with all applicable sanitation, health, and personal hygiene standards. Additionally, you may be responsible for the preparation of batch recipes and production of bulk items while following the established food production programs, recipes, portions, and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Wash and store dishes and kitchen utensils promptly and efficientlyMaintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dishroomComply with all sanitation, health, and personal hygiene standardsAssist in the preparation of batch recipes and production of bulk items as neededUse restaurant supplies and equipment responsibly to minimize loss and wasteProvide the highest quality of service and product to guests in accordance with company policies and objectivesStrive towards guest satisfaction and positive employee relations

Minimum Qualifications:

Courtesy and guest-driven mindsetHigh energy level and staminaDependable and reliableExcellent eye-hand coordinationProfessional, well-groomed presentation and appearanceFlexible schedule required, able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and long shiftsValid Food Handler's/Health PermitMust be at least 18 years of ageAt least 6 months previous experience as a dishwasher in a restaurant
