In this vital role, you will support food service operations by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring safety standards are upheld. Responsibilities Efficiently wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as slicing, chopping, and portioning ingredients using proper knife skills and slicing techniques Follow recipes accurately to support meal preparation and ensure consistency in food quality Operate kitchen equipment safely, including dishwashers, ovens, mixers, and other culinary tools Maintain a clean and organized work area by adhering to food safety management protocols and sanitation procedures Support the culinary team in menu planning by preparing ingredients needed for daily service Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food handling, serving, and catering activities Experience Experience in food service or restaurant environments demonstrating knowledge of food handling and safety standards Familiarity with food industry practices such as recipe adherence, meal preparation, and catering support Skills in cleaning, operating kitchen equipment, and maintaining safety standards in production environments Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with kitchen staff and team members Culinary experience including knife skills, slicing techniques, and basic cooking methods is a plus Previous roles involving food safety management or serving in a fast-paced setting are advantageous Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering quality meals while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient kitchen environment.
