Job Description
Overview Dishwashers wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans and various other food preparation equipment used in the deli. They ensure department sanitation, cleanliness and safety standards are met. They provide excellent, professional customer service. Everyone at PCC is expected to: Collaborate Demonstrate Kindness Focus on the customer Instill trust Value diversity Main Job Responsibilities Washing dishes, utensils, pots, pans and various other food preparation equipment used in the deli Cleaning the deli production areas and service areas Taking out the trash, sweeping, mopping, and wiping down equipment Counter and barista service when needed Basic food preparation, packaging, and labeling items when needed Ensures department sanitation, cleanliness, and safety standards are met Provides excellent, professional customer service when needed Ensures department sanitation, cleanliness and safety standards are met Qualifications and Skills Available to work the evening shift, including weekends Ability to work independently and be accountable to the deli team Must be able to work in a busy kitchen environment Excellent communication skills Must be able to meet physical requirements of standing, twisting, bending, repetitive motion and lifting 10-40lbs regularly A current Food Worker Card from the Washington State Department of Health is required Benefits and Perks Additional $1.50/hour Night Differential when applicable.
