Job Description

Job Summary Looking for weekend dishwasher. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our dynamic culinary team. Hours are Friday, Saturday or Sundays 4:00 until 9:00 p.m. Duties Operate dishwashing equipment to thoroughly clean dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures. Bypass dirty dishes from dining areas, clear tables (bussing), and ensure proper disposal of waste to maintain a tidy work environment. Follow all sanitation protocols to prevent cross-contamination and ensure compliance with food safety management standards. Handle manual cleaning tasks such as scrubbing cookware and wiping down surfaces to uphold hygiene standards. Support the kitchen team by managing heavy lifting of supplies and equipment safely. Operate kitchen equipment responsibly, including dishwashers, sinks, and other related appliances, while adhering to kitchen health and safety standards. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with food handling practices, sanitation procedures, and basic kitchen operations is advantageous. Experience with dishwashing or kitchen cleaning roles demonstrates understanding of hygiene standards and safety protocols. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods. Knowledge of food safety procedures and sanitation practices ensures compliance with health regulations.
