Job Description

Job Summary Join our vibrant culinary team as a Dishwasher and become a vital contributor to our bustling restaurant environment! In this energetic role, you will ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchenware, utensils, and equipment, supporting food safety standards and smooth kitchen operations. Your dedication helps maintain a safe, efficient, and welcoming space where culinary excellence thrives. Whether you're passionate about food safety, enjoy working in fast-paced settings, or are eager to develop your hospitality skills, this position offers a rewarding opportunity to grow within the hospitality industry. Duties Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to thoroughly clean dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans while adhering to food safety sanitizing procedures. Assist with basic food preparation tasks and support kitchen staff in maintaining an organized workspace. Bypass dirty dishes from dining areas (bussing) and ensure proper disposal of waste and recyclables. Follow strict sanitation protocols to uphold kitchen health and safety standards, including cleaning surfaces and equipment regularly. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of large pots or crates of supplies with proper technique to prevent injury. Support food handling processes by ensuring all items are stored correctly after cleaning and maintaining proper food safety management practices. Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly, including dishwashers, sinks, and other small appliances as needed. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided for eager learners. Familiarity with food safety sanitizing procedures and sanitation standards is advantageous. Basic knife skills or experience with food preparation can be beneficial for supporting kitchen operations. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods. Knowledge of kitchen health and safety standards ensures a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues. Experience in banquet or catering settings is a plus but not mandatory; we value enthusiasm and a team-oriented attitude above all. Embark on a journey in hospitality where your efforts directly contribute to exceptional guest experiences! We are committed to fostering a positive work environment that values teamwork, safety, and professional growth—making every shift energetic, fulfilling, and fun!
