Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed, including handling ingredients and organizing supplies. Support bussing duties by clearing tables, removing trash, and maintaining cleanliness in dining and kitchen areas. Handle manual lifting of heavy pots, trays, and boxes while adhering to proper lifting techniques to prevent injury. Maintain sanitation standards by regularly cleaning workstations, sinks, floors, and storage areas in accordance with health regulations. Operate kitchen equipment carefully and responsibly to support overall kitchen operations while observing safety protocols. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation procedures is advantageous. Experience with dishwashing or kitchen cleaning tasks demonstrates reliability in maintaining hygiene standards. Knowledge of basic kitchen safety standards and proper manual handling techniques is beneficial. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
