This position maintains kitchen supply inventory, assists in maintaining china, glass, and silver, and supports overall culinary operations. The role is essential in providing the tools and resources needed for our culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Essential Job Functions Wash, sanitize, and store all china, glassware, silverware, cookware, and kitchen utensils. Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen work areas, storage areas, and equipment. Operate dishwashing and glass washing equipment according to safety and sanitation standards. Assist with restocking kitchen supplies and monitoring inventory levels. Work closely with culinary staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations. Follow proper sanitation and safety procedures at all times. Assist in setting up and breaking down banquet and event dishware as needed. Report maintenance and repair needs promptly to supervisors. All other duties as assigned Qualifications Previous kitchen or stewarding experience preferred. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Strong teamwork skills with a focus on supporting others. Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods. Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds. Basic knowledge of kitchen sanitation, safety, and dish care procedures.
Pay:
$16.00 - $16.50 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per weekBenefits:
