Responsibilities Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning techniques. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas are organized and hygienic throughout your shift. Assist with food preparation tasks such as bussing tables and handling basic food items when needed. Support the catering team by ensuring clean serving ware is available for events and banquets. Follow all food handling and safety protocols to prevent cross-contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to manage dish flow during busy service times, ensuring timely turnaround of clean items. Contribute to overall cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal to uphold sanitation standards. Experience Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is highly valued. Familiarity with restaurant or hotel operations, including basic kitchen procedures such as bussing or food handling, is advantageous. Experience working in banquet settings or catering environments can be beneficial for supporting large-scale events. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy loads is essential.
