We are a fast-paced hotel and café that has a unique draw to guests because of how close we are to all the great amenities that Milwaukee has to offer, yet still offers the feel of a great escape from the day-to-day life. We are seeking warm, passionate, team orientated candidates to join our family. Qualified candidates must be as passionate about making the guests feel like they are at home as we are. All our team is responsible for ensuring our guest's experience is a warm and friendly one. Team members are expected to work alongside other team members and/or be able to stay on task while working alone.

DUTIES INCLUDE

Maintain clean and sanitized kitchen utensils and service ware to keep up with the pace of the café, not limited to but including china, glassware and flatware, platters, cutting boards, kitchen utensils, pots and pans. Keep work area clean through entire shift. Sweep and mop floor at end of shift. Follow proper chemical procedures. Change dish machine chemicals, water and three compartments sink. Remove daily linen bags and replace with new linen bags. Trash removal and sorting for recycling

PREFERRED

Ability to work on your feet for eight hours per day; plus, walking, standing, climbing, balancing, stooping, carrying, kneeling, crouching; in very good physical condition. Knowledge of health and safety rules; adheres to all health Department regulations Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds at a time on a regular basis; push or pull up to 100 pounds.
