Duties Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen tools to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, or organizing ingredients when needed. Support catering and banquet events by providing timely dishwashing services and maintaining a clean service area. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing station, including sinks, counters, and storage areas to promote a hygienic environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy service times. Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and uphold health regulations. Dispose of waste responsibly and recycle materials according to established guidelines. Requirements Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential. Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures, food handling safety standards, and sanitation practices. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting kitchen operations. Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
