Position Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our back-of-house team at Harbor Table. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas, supporting the entire team by keeping dishes, utensils, and cookware clean and ready for service.

Key Responsibilities:

Quickly and efficiently wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment. Maintain a clean and organized dish area at all times. Assist with basic kitchen cleaning duties including trash removal, sweeping, and mopping. Help restock clean dishes and utensils to appropriate stations. Handle and transport kitchen equipment safely, with the ability to lift and carry 30+ pounds. Work at a fast pace while maintaining high cleaning standards, especially during busy service periods. Assist kitchen staff with additional cleaning and prep tasks when needed. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines. Communicate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications:

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items (30+ pounds) regularly. Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude. No prior experience necessary - we are willing to train the right person. Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
