Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas meet health and safety standards. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies and supporting the culinary team as needed. Support bussing duties by clearing tables and ensuring dining areas are tidy for guests. Handle food handling responsibilities with care, adhering to proper hygiene protocols at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods, including catering or banquet events. Follow proper procedures for waste disposal and recycling to maintain an eco-friendly environment. Skills Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting culinary and hospitality staff. Basic understanding of kitchen operations, including cleaning techniques and equipment use. Experience with catering or banquet settings is a plus, demonstrating flexibility in supporting various event types. Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members during service shifts.
