Job Description

Under direct supervision, the Facility Attendant supports daily operations of the Cobre Valley Recreation Center by providing high-quality customer service, monitoring facility safety, assisting with programming, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Maintain positive customer service in assigned areas. Serve as front desk and fitness room attendant. Handle registration, reservations, membership services, and cash handling. Assist in implementation of recreation programs and activities. Maintain equipment and facility cleanliness. Provide supervision and safety oversight in assigned areas. Supervise children within designated spaces. Support marketing initiatives for the CVRC. Assist with cleaning and indoor/outdoor upkeep. Assist with special events and room reservations set up and tear down. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to understand and apply verbal and written instructions in English. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and occasionally high-stress environment. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to use basic computer systems for operations and reporting. Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends. Commitment to customer service excellence. Ability to manage multiple priorities. Willingness to work a flexible, part-time schedule up to 29.5 hours per week, this could include early mornings, late nights, weekends and/or holidays.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or
GED Required Certifications:
Current CPR for the Professional, AED, First Aid, and Arizona Food Handlers Card or ability to obtain within the first thirty (30) days of employment.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
This position requires standing, walking, lifting, bending, and indoor, aquatic and outdoor work. Risher Amenity Management a drug- and alcohol-free workplace in accordance with applicable laws.
