SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
The hotel pool attendant is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming pool environment while providing excellent guest service. This role ensures guest safety, enforces pool rules, and keeps all poolside facilities in top condition.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Greet guests, distribute towels and offer seating Clean and maintain pool deck, loungers, umbrellas, showers Daily set up and breakdown of poolside furniture Monitor pool activity, enforce safety regulations and respond promptly to emergencies or incidents Answer guest inquiries regarding amenities, programming, and service
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor. Ability to monitor multiple activities while remaining attentive to guest needs and safety concerns. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment. High attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety. Professional appearance and demeanor at all times. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
