Position Summary The Town of Breckenridge Recreation Department is seeking a dedicated and customer service oriented individual for the position of Nordic Attendant - Winter Seasonal . This role is responsible for providing exceptional internal and external guest service at the Gold Run Nordic Center. Primary duties include greeting Nordic Center guests, providing information about recreation department programs and services, assisting with rental equipment, and supporting special events and programming. Nordic Attendants also participate in the daily operations of the Nordic Center, including guest service, facility and equipment operation and maintenance, program and service delivery, and safety and risk management. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be 16 years of age or older. High School diploma or GED or current enrollment in HS/GED program required. Previous computer experience preferred.

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES REQUIRED

Valid Driver's License required within five (5) days of hire. Basic CPR, AED, and First Aid Certifications are required within 60 days of hire. Preventing Disease Transmission (PDT) required within 60 days of hire.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

One (1) or more years of customer service experience preferred. Familiarity with Nordic Skiing, Snowshoeing, and Fat Biking preferred.

Additional Information Typical Hiring Pay Range:

$20.00 - $21.25 per hour.

WORK SCHEDULE

Primary shifts for this position generally include six to nine (6-9) hour shifts daily between the hours of 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., however, shifts may occasionally extend as late as 8:00 p.m. depending on the program being offered. Individuals in this position must be flexible in terms of availability, and may on occasion be required to work other shifts as needed, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be available to work through the Winter Seasonal period established by the Recreation Department, which generally extends through the beginning of April. This position is 'Open Until Filled'.
