Job Overview The Pool Attendant is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting pool environment while delivering outstanding guest service. This role supports guest comfort by maintaining poolside organization, monitoring safety conditions, and assisting with amenities to ensure every guest enjoys a relaxing and memorable experience. What You'll Be Doing Deliver Exceptional Guest Service Greet guests warmly and assist with poolside amenities such as towels, seating arrangements, and umbrellas Provide attentive, friendly service and respond promptly to guest requests and questions Maintain a Clean & Inviting Environment Keep the pool deck and surrounding areas clean, organized, and hazard-free Arrange and maintain pool furniture to create an inviting and comfortable atmosphere Remove trash and ensure cleanliness standards are consistently met Promote Safety & Compliance Monitor the pool area to help maintain a safe environment for all guests Enforce pool rules and hotel policies professionally and respectfully Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards promptly to the appropriate departments What You Bring to the Team High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous pool, recreation, or hospitality experience is a plus, but not required — training is provided Friendly, outgoing personality with strong customer service skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Basic knowledge of pool safety practices is helpful Ability to remain active outdoors for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied schedules Working Conditions & Physical Effort This role involves working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Physical requirements include extended standing and walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Work may involve exposure to heat, chemicals, noise, and other environmental conditions. Proper safety procedures and protective equipment must be followed at all times.
