Wynmoor is a premier gated adult condominium community, known for its state-of-the-art theatre and vibrant calendar of recreational events. We're currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our Entertainment & Recreation team, with opportunities available as Theatre Ushers / Hostess If you're looking to earn extra income and work just a few hours per week, this is a great opportunity to get involved in a fun, engaging environment. Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or its equivalency. Minimum of one (1) year of related work experience, preferably in customer service, events, or theatre usher/volunteer. Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions effectively. Proficient in guest services, administrative tasks, and follow-up procedures. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Physical ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, squat, reach, lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25lbs. Valid Florida Driver's license required.
Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service to all attendees at recreation events. Offer assistance, directions, and support to guests, including verifying Wynmoor IDs, scanning tickets, and greeting guests. Assist guests with finding their seats and addressing mobility issues. Control access points to events and enforce event rules as a representative of the recreation and entertainment team. Collect money at events with door fees and ensure accurate cash handling procedures. Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support event schedules. Assist with running community dances, parties, and bingo games. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
