Job Description As a Golf Cart Attendant, you play a vital role in the smooth and safe operation of our golf cart fleet. Your responsibilities go beyond transportation—you ensure carts are clean, charged, staged, and fully prepared for the sales team and guests. You will also use designated systems to track cart usage, manage keys, and maintain accountability. By following S.W.A.G. standards, the First and Last Rules, and demonstrating courtesy and attentiveness at all times, you directly contribute to an exceptional guest and team member experience. You will demonstrate Westgate's core values of Passion, Integrity, and Work Ethic in every interaction with guests and team members. As a Golf Cart Attendant, you will: Greet guests and owners using First and Last Rules while operating the golf cart according to S.W.A.G. guidelines. Stage carts in the proper staging area, ensuring they are fully prepared for the sales team—including keys, cleanliness, and readiness for immediate use. Use the designated system to log cart status, track cart movement, and record which team members take carts from any designated area. Detail carts each morning, including cleaning seats, body, floors, wheels, and tires as needed. Maintain and clean carts throughout the day to ensure they remain presentable and safe. Ensure carts are charged and properly plugged in for the following day. Stay attentive and "ready" to assist any team member or guest promptly. Report all lost and found items immediately to the Sales Manager, Guest Relations Manager, and Security. Return carts to the storage area, remove trash, inspect for damages, and report issues. Wash and detail carts as requested by management. In inclement weather, transport the sales team and their guests using property vehicles while following all safety guidelines. Assist the Bell Service team. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 21 years old; able to operate golf carts and up to a 15‑passenger van following all safety guidelines. Available to work PM shifts, weekends, and holidays. Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Excellent communication and guest‑service skills. Professional presentation and strong interpersonal abilities. Westgate Resorts is a Smoke and Tobacco-Free workplace.
