Company with great benefits including paid time-off, paid holidays and annual bonus. Minimum of 1 years' experience in a related field is required for this position. The Wellness Center Attendant plays a vital role in creating a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment for patients in our Wellness Center Program. This position is responsible for assisting in the coordination of daily activities, supporting patient needs, and maintaining safe and clean facilities. Job duties include, but are not limited to: Greet and interact with members and/or visitors in a friendly, professional manner using company greetings formats. Keep accurate attendance in EMR for all daily participants, following check in and check out protocols. Verify insurance coverage and eligibility upon check-in. Coordinate and oversee daily wellness activities that take place at the Wellness Center, to include music and dancing, arts and crafts, nutritional and educational courses, and fitness classes. Perform set-up and clean-up responsibilities for each activity. Serve breakfast and lunch to patients visiting the wellness center. Smell and try food upon delivery, report any issues to Supervisor. Perform infection control prevention with continuous hand hygiene, surface disinfection, cleaning of equipment and/or devices after each use. Distribute monthly personal care bags to patients, first performing insurance verification and documenting patient's account. Perform daily birthday calls to patients, document in patient's account. Educate and enforce wellness center, game room, and fitness center rules and regulations. Coordinate transportation for patients attending the Wellness Center, as needed. Clean and sanitize wellness center areas after patients departure. Consistently follow department guidelines for patient identification in every call or physical contact with a patient; ask for full name and date of birth.
