Job Description
The Pool and Beach Attendant is responsible greeting residents and guest and ensuring luxury service at the pool and beach. The Pool and Beach Attendant also maintains resident safety by assisting pool attendants with monitoring and maintaining pool and beach areas. He/she will ensure residents are provided with the highest level of quality, prompt, courteous, and efficient service. Professional demeanor appropriate for a luxury environment. Previous Resident Relations, Recreation or Front Office experience or equivalent preferred in a luxury hotel, club, or condominium environment. Possess outstanding resident services skills, professional presentation and sophisticated communication skills. Knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) systems Able to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, ever-changing environment. Enjoy working with people of all ages. Effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by residents, members, and staff. First Aid and CPR - Basic Rescuer an asset. Ensure resident satisfaction. Assist residents with any issues or concerns; confirm that are resolved in a professional and timely manner. Ensure the cleanliness of the Pool and Beach areas, keep equipment in proper working order; report any deficiencies. Provide various amenities to our residents. Maintain towels, umbrellas and amenities stocked at appropriate levels. Assist residents with the set-up of chairs, towels, and umbrellas. Return all towels, chairs and umbrellas to their proper locations after residents have departed. Assist with activities in the area including kids' activities and Special Events. Assist the Food and Beverage team to take orders, food running and cleaning the area. Provide information and direction to residents. Handle house account transactions, and issue receipts. Ensure accuracy of house account transactions. Responsible for open/close of pool and beach procedures. Perform other related duties as assigned. High school diploma or GED Ability to communicate in the English language. Multilingual is a plus. Ability to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends and able to perform multiple tasks. Experience using computers and software programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions including heat, sun, wind, and rain. Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Able to be outdoors for long periods of time. Must be physically fit in order to lift, pull and push items up to 50 pounds. Also requires standing/walking/reaching and bending throughout shift.
