Job Description

The Cart and Practice Range Crew provides service to the membership as per the list of job duties contained in this job description. Also, a caring attitude toward club success and a demonstration of intellectual insight and integrity representative of the Okefenokee Country Club are expected at all times. The Cart and Practice Range Crew reports directly to the Pro-Shop Manager. The Cart and Practice Range Crew is also responsive to the Club Manager at all times. The Crew in cooperation with the Pro Shop manager carry out these duties and oversee the cart crewmembers in the following responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Carts:
1. Operate carts at a safe driving speed at all times 2. Remove the carts from the cart barn and assemble in the staging area 3. Pick up players golf bags from their vehicles at the bag drop and return cart to the staging area 4. Clean carts and return to the cart barn for charging. Scorecards and pencils 5. Report any damaged or repairs of carts to the Pro Shop Manager 6. Repair any cart such as a flat tire as needed 7. Clean coolers and check sand daily 8. Keep ice in the cooler at all times 9. Follow the posted maintenance schedule
Bag Storage:
1. Retrieve member bags as required and place on cart 2. Clean clubs upon return to bag storage
Practice Range:
1. Set up practice range as per direction of pro-shop manager 2. Pick range as needed, wash golf balls, and prepare for redistribution 3. Make sure the practice range has a supply of balls at all times 4. Check coolers for water and ice 5. Check gas in range machine and fill up as needed

Demonstrate a professional image and work ethic representative of the Okefenokee Country Club 1. Demonstrates a willingness to work as a team player 2. Complies with policies and procedures of the club 3. Maintains confidentiality 4. Arrives at work on time and uses leave properly 5. Works a flexible schedule as needed 6. Demonstrates professionalism in contact with members, co-workers, and the public 7. Displays cooperative, supportive, and professional behavior toward colleagues and the Board of Directors 8. Recognizes and respects the line between professional and personal relationships with fellow employees and members 9. Demonstrates customer service 10. Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor
