• Valdosta-Lowndes County Parks and Recreation Authority is accepting applications for the position of Concession Rec Aide. Concession Rec Aides will run our concession cart during events throughout the year. The Concessions Attendant is responsible for maintaining operations and assisting customers at VLPRA events. Looking for candidates with experience in retail/cash handling. This position works mainly on the weekends. The keys to success in this position are dressing appropriately, staying off your phone while working, being present minded and alert on the job, and most importantly bringing a positive attitude to work.
Qualifications:
Candidates need to have experience in retail/cash handling. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Must possess a valid State driver's license. Valdosta-Lowndes County Parks and Recreation Authority is a drug-free workplace. A pre-employment drug screen, criminal history background investigation, and a Motor Vehicle Report will be conducted.
