JOB OBJECTIVE
Under general direction, performs routine work of moderate difficulty in supervising and leading children's activities. Must be organized, reliable and good with children ages 5-12. Hours of work are 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, M-F during the summer. We are looking to fill the following shifts: Monday, Wednesday, & Friday | 8am

  • July 31 Tuesday & Thursday | 8am
  • 5:30pm | May 26
  • July 31 Must be at least 16 years of age to apply.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Under the direction of the Recreation Program Manager and Recreation Program Leader; lead and teach children games, arts and crafts, sports and outdoor activities. Perform minor custodial duties in facilities and surrounding park areas. Qualifications Good knowledge of recreational activities. Knowledge of working with children in a group situation. Ability to establish a good rapport with children and still maintain discipline. Ability to maintain a good working relationship with other employees. Ability to work in indoor and outdoor settings. Perform job duties in hot, humid or windy weather conditions. Requirements Provide supervision and guidance to a group of children under the direction of a program leader. Carryout out program activities. Foster positive, healthy relationships with children. CPR Certification is required prior to first day of job.
