Bethesda, MD Job Details Part-time $18 an hour 14 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication In-person customer service Cash register Customer engagement Venue customer assistance Computer skills POS systems Full Job Description We are currently looking to fill the position of Starter / Marshal for the upcoming golf season! This part time position (15-25 hrs. /week) runs from Mid-March to the end of November. The position entails a combination of shifts both as a Starter helping guests kick off their golfing day from the first tee and helping customers during their round as a Marshal when needed. Here at Kenwood, we pride ourselves on delivering the highest level of service and promotion for the game of golf. As an ambassador for Kenwood Country Club you will have the opportunity to create extraordinary golf experiences and lasting memories for our members and guests as they enjoy one of the premier Country Clubs in the DC area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following Offer consistent, professional, engaging and friendly customer service Maintain cohesive communication with the Golf Professional Staff Provide course information for our members and guests as they start their round. Assist guests in maintaining a proper pace of play Enforce the rules, regulations, policies and procedures established by the Club Facilitate charges for cart fees and guest fees
QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess outstanding guest services skills Proficient and adaptable to different computer programs and POS systems Outstanding communication skills Outgoing, energetic, and enjoys working in a team environment Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment Must have golf knowledge and experience Must be able to work weekends, holiday and/or evening shifts
