Non-Exempt (Hourly) Position Summary The Golf Course Grill Attendant is responsible for preparing and serving simple grill items, including hot dogs, hamburgers, and other snack foods, while providing friendly and efficient service to golfers and guests. This position maintains cleanliness, food safety standards, and ensures a positive guest experience at all times. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items such as hot dogs, hamburgers, brats, and other grill products according to established standards. Take guest orders and process payments accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system. Serve food and beverages in a courteous and professional manner. Maintain adequate stock levels of food, beverages, condiments, and paper products. Ensure food is prepared and stored in compliance with all health and safety regulations. Monitor product quality and notify management when inventory replenishment is needed. Keep the grill area, counters, equipment, and guest service areas clean and organized. Perform opening, closing, and daily cleaning procedures. Follow all company policies regarding food handling, sanitation, safety, and guest service. Respond to guest requests and resolve concerns professionally. Assist with other food and beverage duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous food service or customer service experience preferred but not required. Ability to operate basic kitchen and grilling equipment safely. Basic math and cash-handling skills. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. Ability to work in a warm kitchen or outdoor environment. Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive motions. Work Environment Fast-paced food service environment. Exposure to heat from grills and cooking equipment. May require weekend, holiday, and evening availability based on golf course operations.
