Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Fills out various forms for scheduling purposes Assess area for cleanliness prior to event/clean up and messes prior to doors Helps in maintaining a clear walk way for patrons Efficiently and courteously distributes information & provides guidance concerning seating and events Escort guest to their sections/seats, frequently when the venue is dark. Distribute information concerning coming attractions Proactively approach guests that may have a question, difficulty, or complaint Monitors events and event spaces to watch for potential issues and to ensure the safety of all guests Notifies operations staff for assistance when the need arises Enthusiastically greet in a friendly positive manner with the public and all levels of management and fellow employees Light cleaning of trash and chair removal duties after some events Work independently or within groups Able to judge and assess situations for immediate appropriate response including alerting staff or emergency personnel Dress according to Dow Event Center/Jolt Credit Union Event Park Dress Code Policy Know & enforce Dow Event Center/Jolt Credit Union Event Park Policies and Procedures Ability to complete an incident form if needed Availability to work a minimum of 2 day/events per month Other duties may be assigned Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, including up and down stairs.
