Job Description

Position Summary :
Pigeon Creek Golf Course is a family-owned, 18-hole facility in West Olive, MI. We are seeking friendly and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Pro Shop Attendants. The ideal candidate will have a passion for golf, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to assist in the daily operations of the golf shop. As a Pro Shop Attendant, you will play a key role in ensuring our customers have an exceptional experience while on the course or shopping for golf equipment, apparel, and accessories. Additionally, you will assist with maintaining the shop's inventory, handling transactions, and supporting overall operations.
Key Responsibilities :
Customer Service:
Greet and assist customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner. Provide product recommendations and answer questions about golf equipment, apparel, and services.
Tee Sheet Management:
Manage the daily schedule of golfers in order to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction.
Sales:
Assist customers with purchasing golf equipment, apparel, and accessories.
Inventory Management:
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control. Restock shelves, display products, and maintain an organized and clean shop.
Point-of-Sale:
Operate the register, process transactions, and handle cash, credit, or debit card payments accurately.
Equipment Maintenance:
Ensure that rental clubs, carts, and other shop items are in good condition and ready for use.
Promotions & Marketing:
Assist in displaying and promoting in-store sales, special offers, and seasonal discounts.
General Shop Duties:
Keep the shop clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other golf course staff to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the facility and provide seamless customer service.
Qualifications :
Previous retail or customer service experience preferred. Knowledge or interest in golf is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively. Basic math skills and experience with point-of-sale systems. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude. Availability to work weekends, holidays, and peak seasons.
Job Type:

$13.00 - $14.00 per hour
