The team at Margaritaville Lake Resort is here to create and deliver fun and escapism for our guests, and that means a fin-tastic variety of recreational activities on the resort! With good pay, extensive benefits and a family atmosphere, we are looking for a friendly, confident and welcoming individual to attend to the indoor or outdoor pools and/ or the indoor waterpark and assist our guests as needed.
Job Type:
Seasonal Pay $ 15 per hour
Age Requirement:
Must be at least 16 years of age Reports to: Recreation Manager, Director of Recreation As a Pool Attendant, you will be a vital part of creating an environment of fun and participation while ensuring that the guests are enjoying the area safely. You will enjoy talking to people of all ages including young children.
Responsibilities include:
Maintain pool chemical and cleaning logs. Greet all guests and creating a hospitable atmosphere. Maintain a safe and clean facility and enforce all appropriate safety rules. Ensure guests are using the slides and water areas safely and following safety instructions and guidelines. Personal Skills Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors. Possess strong hospitality skills while in direct contact with the guests, other staff members and on the phone. Ability to scrupulously follow all Driftwood and hotel policies and procedures. Projects and assignments are completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care. Adjusts to high-pressure conditions and is open to change. Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development. Conducts him\herself, acts and dresses professionally at all times Expresses ideas and conveys information clearly, effectively, and professionally. Actively listens to others. Conveys company information, decision, or problems to appropriate parties on a timely basis. Physical Requirements Must be a strong swimmer. Minimum pulling and lifting of 20 pounds. Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity. Hearing, writing. speaking Standing for long periods of time.
