Job Description Summary Student workers are responsible for coordinating, scheduling, officiating and supervising intramural sports and activities. Responsibilities include record keeping and promoting the Intramural program. All staff members will promote a fun environment of competitive fair play.

Knowledge of various sport rules and ability to enforce rules at all times Provide fair, quality officiating during contests Ensure safety of participants Develop intramural schedules for various leagues and tournaments Verify player eligibility Serve as scorekeeper, game official, etc. as needed Promote exciting activities to foster the continuous growth of the Intramural program Perform general setup, breakdown, custodial and maintenance functions as needed Update intramural website with game results daily Maintain positive public relations with students and staff Attend any mandatory staff meetings and staff training Other duties and responsibilities as assignedREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge:
Proof of current certification ofCPR, AED
Essentials, and Standard First Aid Or willing to be certified inCPR, AED
Essentials, and Standard First Aid prior to working Applicants must be full time undergraduate students eligible for student employment Skills and Abilities Reliability Dependability Punctuality Self-Confidence Willingness and ability to take charge Willing to work 10 hours weekly including early mornings, nights, weekends, and occasional university breaks Able to lift and move up to 40 poundsENVIRONMENT
