FOX5 is seeking a highly creative, organized, and driven Executive Producer of Lifestyle, Entertainment, Sports, and Specials to lead our station's flagship daily entertainment programs, sports coverage, and high-impact special broadcasts. The ideal candidate is a seasoned broadcast professional with a proven track record of managing diverse production teams, collaborating closely with sales departments to execute sponsored integrations, and executing seamless live coverage of both planned specials and breaking news events. A strong sports production background is essential, as this role carries significant responsibility for our SSSEN sports network programming. Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):- Direct and oversee the daily production, pacing, and creative direction of the station's marquee lifestyle and entertainment programs, including MORE Las Vegas and Studio 5 Live.
- Oversee and coordinate coverage across the 7 shows on our SSSEN (Silver State Sports Entertainment Network) sports network, ensuring consistent quality, pacing, and editorial standards across all programs.
- Coordinate scheduling and production logistics for Silver State Live, including remote broadcasts, crew assignments, and rundown planning.
- Plan and help execute 5Drive shoots and shows, coordinating crews, locations, and production schedules.
- Executive produce specials and live remote sports coverage (e.g., championship events, season openers, playoff runs), coordinating closely with talent, photographers, and technical staff.
- Partner directly with the station's sales and marketing teams to conceptualize, produce, and execute high-quality sponsored content and sales-driven integrations that feel seamless and engaging to the viewer.
- Oversee the digital product strategy for each show and special — including MORE Las Vegas, Studio 5 Live, all SSSEN programs, Silver State Live, and 5Drive — ensuring content is properly adapted and distributed across web, app, and social platforms.
- Ensure editorial and brand standards are maintained as content moves from broadcast to digital, and work with the digital team to maximize audience engagement across all platforms.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Line Producer, Executive Producer, or senior newsroom leader in a medium-to-large television market.
- Demonstrated experience producing sports content, sports specials, or sports network programming is required.
- Proficiency with industry-standard newsroom production systems (e.g., ENPS, iNEWS) and basic editing systems (e.g., Edius) is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and train creative staff in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong composure and quick decision-making skills during live control room execution, especially during breaking news, sports, or live remote broadcasts.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of bridging the gap between editorial/production and sales/creative services departments.
