Jayell Ranch Family Adventure Park is seeking dependable, energetic, and safety-focused Adventure Guides and Aviary Attendants to join our team in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. We cross-train team members across specialized outdoor adventure tracks based on experience and interest.

Primary focus areas include:

Zipline Guide:

Gear up guests, manage course safety, and lead zipline tours.

Horseback Guide:

Assist with mounting/dismounting, trail supervision, and horse care. Off-Road /

ATV Guide:

Lead guided trail rides, conduct pre-ride vehicle briefings, and enforce trail safety. Aviary Attendant /

Zookeeper:

Care for aviary birds and various other animals , maintain clean habitats, and provide educational guest interactions. Key Responsibilities Lead safe, engaging outdoor excursions across designated activity tracks (ATV, Zipline, Horseback, or Aviary). Deliver thorough safety briefings and ensure guests properly understand rules and equipment operation. Inspect, clean, and maintain gear, vehicles, stables, habitats, and staging areas daily. Safely fit guests with harnesses, helmets, and personal protective equipment. Monitor trail, weather, and animal conditions closely and respond calmly in accordance with ranch safety protocols. Share knowledge of local wildlife, ranch history, and the Smoky Mountains to enrich the guest experience. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. Relevant hands-on experience Prior experience in tour guiding, instruction, hospitality, or customer service preferred. Comfortable working on your feet outdoors in changing weather conditions and over uneven terrain. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist guests with equipment fitting or boarding. Pay:

$10.00 - $15.00 per hour
