In this vital role, you'll operate scanning equipment to validate tickets, assist guests with entry, and uphold safety protocols to create an enjoyable environment for everyone. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help set the tone for memorable experiences at our venue. Duties Operate ticket scanning devices accurately to verify guest admission and prevent unauthorized access Greet guests warmly, providing excellent customer service and directions as needed Manage entry lines efficiently, ensuring smooth flow during peak times Enforce safety procedures, including emergency protocols and crowd control measures Assist with manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of equipment or supplies when necessary, up to 40lbs. Potentially process card transactions for ticket sales or merchandise using POS (Point of Sale) systems This position does work both indoors in air conditioning and outside in extreme conditions. Extended periods of time sitting or standing depending upon event. Qualifications Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries and resolve conflicts effectively Ability to stand, walk, and perform manual handling tasks for extended periods in outdoor or indoor settings Experience working with children or in outdoor work environments is advantageous Familiarity with processing transactions.
