Description:
Summary of Position The essential responsibility of the Usher is to provide exemplary customer service for all patrons of the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center under every circumstance. The position is intended to provide prompt, efficient, professional and courteous assistance to Symphony Center patrons, guests, and clients. Other responsibilities include directing patrons to seating locations. Follow procedures and policies, etc. Essential Duties Exhibit the highest degree of customer service to all patrons under every circumstance. Ensure the safety and well-being of all patrons at every performance and event. Be available for regularly scheduled events on the performance calendar. Distribute program books and program book inserts as needed to appropriate hall locations. Place inserts into program books. Scan patron tickets upon entering the hall and escort patrons to their seats. Be familiar with all aspects of the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center to be able to provide necessary information to patrons. Be familiar with handling ticket problems and be able to handle patron complaints. Problem solve and take initiative in conflict, crisis, and emergency situations.
Requirements:
High school Diploma Ability to work various hours, including holidays, weekends, and evenings.
