Job Description

General Summary:
Golf Shop Attendant is the first point of contact in the Golf Shop.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Primary Duties Assist Members with purchases and merchandise information. Process payments and conduct daily opening and closing cashier duties. Attend to Golf Shop email, respond to Member inquiries promptly and accurately. Clean and maintain order in golf shop (displays, storage, and front counter).
Skills and Abilities Required:
Willingness to learn and adapt to varied and added responsibilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Results-driven and goal-oriented with a priority on teamwork Work as part of a team or collaborate with colleagues. Great attention to detail. Deliver elevated levels of service is essential. Individuals should be punctual and professional.
Certification/Education and Experience:
Basic computer knowledge. Retail and Customer Service experience preferred.
Working Condition:
Shift work evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required. Work is performed in a typical temperature-controlled clubhouse environment subject to typical noise and conditions.
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position constantly communicates with members, guests, colleagues, and managers. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods. Adjusting or moving objects up to 60 pounds in all directions. Frequently positions self to complete assigned tasks.
