BRIEF DESCRIPTION
Part-Time/No Benefits, work is scheduled as needed for events. This is skilled customer service work, assisting facility patrons with seating assignments and assisting with special needs. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Multi-Purpose Events Center (MPEC) Usher Supervisor and work is reviewed for results obtained. Also performs related work as required.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Should have knowledge of cleaning materials, methods, equipment and procedures. Ability to follow oral and written instructions; ability to establish and maintain working relationships with others.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
# Code Essential Functions 1 L Waits On the public requiring the ability to effectively communicate with the public. Resolves ticketing or seating problems or complaints that occur at performances. Assists with crowd management. Assists with any accidents or injuries that may occur with patrons. 2 H Maintains good public relations and service. Provides information to facility patrons concerning performance and facility policy. Maintains proper image and generates public goodwill. 3 L Assists in the general cleaning and maintenance of the Box Office area 4 M Minor Maintenance on facility and equipment.
JOB CLASSIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Formal Education Work requires knowledge necessary to understand basic operational, technical, or office processes. Level of knowledge equivalent to four years of high school or equivalency. Experience No experience required.
