In this energetic role, you'll ensure the pool area is maintained to the highest standards, assist guests with their needs, and respond swiftly to any emergencies. Responsibilities Monitor pool activity continuously to ensure safety and enforce facility rules Perform routine pool maintenance including cleaning filters, skimming debris, and maintaining water quality Assist guests with pool access, provide information about amenities, and address inquiries promptly Conduct safety checks of pool equipment and surrounding areas to identify hazards or maintenance needs Respond confidently to emergency situations using first aid, CPR, AED operation, and basic life support techniques Follow established first aid protocols during incidents such as injuries or medical emergencies like cardiac arrest Heavy lifting of supplies or equipment may be required for pool cleaning and maintenance tasks Experience Prior lifeguard experience or certification is highly preferred Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures and cleaning techniques Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and basic life support is essential Experience in guest services or customer-facing roles is advantageous Ability to swim confidently and perform water rescues if necessary Strong communication skills with a proactive approach to safety and guest engagement Willingness to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods Join us in creating a safe, fun-filled aquatic environment where guests can relax and enjoy!
