Job Description CMC, an Associa company, is hiring a part time Facilities Recreation Attendant for its large-scale HOA community in Haymarket. The Facilities Recreation Attendant provides front desk support for the clubhouse and serves as the firstpoint of contact for residents, guests, and vendors. This position manages the multi-line phone system,greets and assists visitors, answers questions, and provides accurate information about clubhouse andcommunity activities. The Facilities Recreation Attendant monitors activity inside and outside theclubhouse, reports issues to management, supports the General Manager and Assistant GeneralManager with administrative tasks, and performs opening or closing procedures as required. The positionhelps maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby and ensures smooth daily operations of thefacility. The position requires working one evening per week from 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., as well as rotating weekend shifts.
Weekend shifts are as follows:
Saturday:
6:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. •
Sunday:
7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. or 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Job Duties and Responsibilities Duties include, but are not limited to: Front Desk & Customer Service Manage the multi-line phone system, answer calls, and direct messages to appropriate staff. Greet residents, guests, and vendors as they enter and exit the clubhouse. Assist residents and guests with questions, concerns, and general information about clubhouseamenities and community activities. Provide accurate and updated information about events, schedules, and community happenings. Facility Monitoring & Issue Reporting Monitor activity inside and outside the clubhouse, including pool, gym, and gate areas. Observe and report maintenance, safety, or operational issues to management promptly. Keep the lobby clean, organized, and presentable, including maintaining newspapers andinformational materials. Administrative Support Assist the General Manager and Assistant General Manager with filing, organizing documents,and other administrative tasks. Pass along resident messages, feedback, or concerns to management in a timely, accuratemanner. Opening & Closing Procedures Perform end-of-day closing procedures, including securing doors, shutting down activity areas,and ensuring the building is ready for the next day. Complete opening procedures when scheduled on weekends or early shifts. Vendor & Visitor Interaction Welcome vendors entering the clubhouse and notify management of their arrival. Offer guidance to service providers accessing the facility. General Assistance Maintain awareness of community events to better assist residents. Support overall clubhouse operations as directed by management. Other duties as requested. Requirements High School Diploma or GED Required. Excellent communication skills, written and spoken. High level of customer service skills. Works well independently and with a team. Self-motivated, proactive, takes the initiative, and has strong follow-up skills.
