Job Description

Assist with the operation of a full scale food concession service. Assist with various event related tasks. Assist with various office duties. To take food concession orders and act as a cashier for such orders. This includes, but is not limited to the operation of cash registers, food prep and kitchen appliances/accessories/utensils. To act as a food runner for the cook, delivering food from the grill to customers at the counter. To step in as a relief cook, for the Pavilion Coordinator, when needed. To perform various cleaning tasks and custodial duties, as needed. To assist with various office and administrative duties, as needed. To mail and deliver promotional and advertisement material to local businesses, sponsors and partners. Other related duties, as assigned. At least 16 years of age. Shall have a valid Washington State Driver's License. Ability to communicate well and work with the public; Experience with food services, events, and office duties are de sired. Must pass a background check. May require regular work on Saturdays and Sundays. Hours and days scheduled will vary greatly according to the seasonal event calendar, in order to accommodate clients and events. Person(s) filling this position will be limited to working under 690 hours in a twelve (12) month period, and less than 86 hours in any one month. Work will be performed both inside and outside. Requires sitting, standing, walking, walking on rough terrain, maintaining balance, climbing stairs, kneeling, bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling and twisting; requires a sense of touch, finger dexterity, ability to grip with fingers and hands and lift and carry up to 25 pounds; Grays Harbor County is an Equal Opportunity Employer
