Job Summary:
Pool Operations Manager (POM) is the technical trade expert, leading the development of best practices and solutions organization-wide. Elevate standards and drive positive outcomes while ensuring seamless client interactions through proactive communication and high-level problem-solving. POM oversees team performance, fosters accountability, and enhances service quality to create a positive work environment and maximize productivity. Through proactive inventory management, POM supports peak performance levels, spearhead quality assurance efforts to meet regulatory requirements and guides team members to successful task completion with expertise in work orders.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Lead daily routines and inspect weekly non-negotiables Continued training and guidance to best practices, leading by example.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Assign tasks to team members, provide expert guidance on work orders, and ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively Monitor, prepare and review team performance, identify areas for improvement, provide feedback and coaching to ensure performance goals are met Implement strategies to improve service quality, fostering a positive work environment and enhancing customer satisfaction Organize and conduct training sessions for team members, enhancing their skills and knowledge Lead quality assurance initiatives, conducting inspections and audits to ensure compliance to organizational standards Research and create organization-wide best practices for pool operations, ensuring they are up-to-date with industry standards Tackle technical and operational issues as they arise, employing high-level problem-solving skills Maintain proactive communication with clients, addressing all concerns promptly and professionally Conduct weekly inventory checks, manage supplies, and reorder necessary items to support department needs
Required Skills/Abilities :
Technical Experience requirements: 5+ years experience in water hydraulics, water chemistry, plumbing and electrical Master familiarity with all Pentair Pool Products Advanced knowledge and experience in pool maintenance, operations, and repair techniques Certifications such as Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) preferred Ability to read blueprints and plumbing schematics Proven experience in a leadership or managerial role, with the ability to develop a team Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly address and resolve technical and operational issues Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service and the ability to manage client relationships proactively Experience in implementing and overseeing quality assurance programs Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities as the role may require manual labor, lifting 50lbs, and working in various weather conditions If interested, please apply and send your resume.
