We are looking for a motivated, organized, and business-minded Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the club and help drive continued growth. This is a hands-on management position. The General Manager will oversee staff, membership sales, customer service, facility operations, and overall club performance while working closely with ownership. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, communicates well, solves problems, and understands that running a successful gym requires both strong customer service and strong business execution. Key Responsibilities Sales & Membership Growth
  • Oversee membership sales and lead conversion
  • Give gym tours and assist prospective members with selecting memberships
  • Follow up with leads, trials, and prospective members
  • Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Train front desk staff on membership sales and lead follow-up
  • Help develop promotions, referral campaigns, and other initiatives to increase membership
  • Work toward monthly membership and revenue goals Staff Management
  • Manage, train, and support front desk employees
  • Create and maintain staff schedules
  • Help recruit, interview, hire, and onboard new employees
  • Monitor employee performance, attendance, and professionalism
  • Hold staff accountable to company policies and operating standards
  • Ensure proper communication between management and employees
  • Provide coaching and corrective feedback when necessary Member Experience & Customer Service
  • Maintain a professional, welcoming, and high-quality member experience
  • Handle escalated member questions and concerns
  • Assist with membership billing, freezes, cancellations, renewals, and account issues
  • Resolve customer complaints professionally and fairly
  • Ensure staff clearly communicates membership policies and procedures
  • Build relationships with members and help improve member retention Daily Gym Operations
  • Oversee the daily operation of the facility
  • Ensure opening, closing, and front desk procedures are followed
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of the gym
  • Identify equipment, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or other facility issues and coordinate repairs when necessary
  • Monitor supplies and operational needs
  • Ensure gym policies and safety standards are consistently enforced
  • Address unexpected operational problems as they arise Business & Administrative Responsibilities
  • Track important business metrics including memberships, leads, trials, renewals, cancellations, and sales
  • Prepare reports and communicate club performance to ownership
  • Assist with billing and membership-related administrative issues
  • Maintain accurate member and operational records
  • Help identify ways to improve systems, procedures, and overall efficiency
  • Work with vendors and outside partners when necessary
  • Assist with community, business, and promotional partnerships Programs & Growth
  • Support the growth of group fitness and specialty training programs
  • Help coordinate instructors, trainers, classes, and special events
  • Assist with marketing campaigns, promotions, social media initiatives, and community outreach
  • Look for new opportunities to generate revenue and improve the member experience Qualifications
  • English and Korean speaking
  • Previous management, leadership, sales, or customer service experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable managing and holding employees accountable
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Sales-oriented and comfortable working toward performance goals
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Able to remain professional during difficult customer or employee situations
  • Comfortable working with computers, membership management systems, email, and spreadsheets
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
  • Ability to take ownership of problems and follow them through to completion
  • Preferred, but not required:
  • Previous gym or fitness industry experience
  • Previous management experience
  • Membership or service-based sales experience
  • Experience with Mindbody or similar membership management software
  • Experience managing schedules, employees, or facility operations

Availability during weekdays, evenings, and occasional weekends may be required depending on business needs.   • Starting Base Compensation:
    $3,500
  • 4,000 per month
  • Additional compensation includes:
  • Membership sales commission
  • Performance-based bonuses
