SALARY DESCRIPTION
$19- 24 per non session hour (DOE) Approximately $32
- 36 per training session hour + Ability to earn additional incentive bonuses and commission
JOB SUMMARY
Fitness Managers lead and manage the Training experience. Leaders in this role are passionate about fitness and committed to delivering positive results by driving culture, leading and developing their team, and creating a great member experience. The Fitness Manager works with the General Manager and Regional Personal Training Manager to deliver the business brand, member experience and business goals through the following:DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

YOU WILL DO
Oversees fitness sales, revenue, promotional activities, and general administration with the aim of driving the business forward Committed to building a community of members through a consistent member experience Works to maintain member retention by making 30-50 telephone calls per day Manages departmental budget and meets or exceeds monthly, quarterly and yearly financial targets and goals Conducts weekly audits of Personal Training agreements, tracking sales, scheduling sessions Produces reports on club fitness budget, sessions, members, and other reports as requested Obtains member feedback to ensure all Personal Trainers are delivering a positive member experience Responsible for delivering Club Personal Training goals including revenue and member retention Ensures entire Personal Training team is aware of the club and company goals and focused on exceeding Focused on continually building community connections through consistent member experience, which fosters continued member retention and increasing frequency of sessions trained Responsible for achieving personal performance targets for Personal Training sales and sessions trained. Works with the General Manager and Field Ops Management to discover ways to eliminate unnecessary costs without impacting the Personal Training experience Responsible for managing payroll budgets and ensuring proper management of the Personal Training team schedule. Exercises confidentiality, professionalism, and diplomacy Leads by example for delivering the company mission to members Assists in the recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training strong team of Personal Trainers Ensures staffing model is adequate to achieve Personal Training session targets Partner with General Manager, to identify future leaders, discuss career pathways and implement learning plans for continued growth of Certified Personal Trainers Manage performance by setting clear expectations about behavior, performance, and consequences Responsible for continually training Personal Trainer's, to ensure continued growth and development, and delivery of a great member experience Observes, shadows, and provides feedback to Personal Trainers, ensuring delivery of a positive member experience Conduct weekly meetings with Personal Trainers to review performance and offer direction, motivation, and guidance toward achieving individual and company goals Meets with prospective members, providing them with necessary information while maintaining high standards of professionalism Responsible for communicating and upholding company standards by ensuring club is clean, safe, fun, and welcoming Revised 07.2024Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
WHO YOU ARE:
College degree in business, retail or hospitality preferred Current Personal Training certification from an approved accredited program required- plus 1 year experience in fitness or retail management Four year or advanced degree in related field may be submitted in lieu of personal training certificate Additional course work in physical education, nutrition, physiology, and exercise science is beneficial Desired knowledge, experience, and understanding of Fitness including; equipment, personal training, and group fitness Availability to work weekends and holidays if needed Strong service orientation and desire to deliver an outstanding member experience Computer literate•proficient at MS Excel, MS Outlook and MS Word Clear and effective written and verbal communication Outstanding organization and strong time management Must demonstrate professionalism, cooperation and ability to work well in team environment CPR/AED certification required first 30 days of hire High regard and propensity for safety
