Duties Conduct one-on-one introductory personal training sessions tailored to individual client needs and fitness levels. Collect pertinent lifestyle information from members, build value, and then sell training packages to existing members. Develop and manage a team of trainers, implementing workout programs that incorporate proper body mechanics and exercise physiology principles. Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle choices to enhance overall health and fitness outcomes. Monitor client progress, adjusting programs as necessary to ensure continued improvement and motivation. Utilize effective and ethical sales techniques to promote personal training services and fitness programs within the gym. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized training environment, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition. Stay updated on industry trends, new training techniques, and continuing education opportunities to enhance professional development. Requirements Certification in personal training from a recognized organization is strongly recommended but not required. Strong knowledge of body mechanics, exercise physiology, and program design principles. Experience in fitness sales is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to effectively communicate with clients and provide motivational support--make their workouts fun! Background in Sales is incredibly advantageous. A passion for health, wellness, and helping others achieve their fitness goals is essential.
