Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and highly organized Aquatics Director to lead our swim school operations and ensure a safe, engaging, and professional environment for all participants. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily program management, staff supervision, customer service excellence, and operational efficiency. Duties Lead and manage all aspects of swim school operations, including scheduling, staffing, and program development Supervise and train instructors and staff to ensure delivery of high-quality swim lessons and customer service Oversee guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive experience for participants and their families Maintain strict safety protocols by enforcing water safety standards, conducting regular facility inspections, and ensuring staff are certified in first aid and CPR Manage operational tasks such as budgeting, cash handling, inventory control, and report writing to support efficient facility management Coordinate with event management teams for special programs or community events at the facility Utilize technical proficiency with Microsoft Office tools to prepare reports, schedules, and operational documentation Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety guidelines while fostering a welcoming environment for all guests Requirements Proven leadership experience in a management role within hospitality, resort, or event venue settings—preferably with supervisory or supervising experience in a fast-paced environment Strong background in operations management, staff supervision, and team management with excellent managerial decision-making skills Demonstrated expertise in event management or hosting large-scale activities such as swim competitions or community events Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences including staff, guests, and stakeholders Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for report writing and administrative tasks Experience in shift management, guest services, budgeting, cash handling, and operational oversight First aid and CPR certification is required; additional certifications related to water safety are highly desirable Previous experience working in hospitality or resort environments is preferred; experience managing an aquatic or recreational facility is a plus Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Join us as our Aquatics Director and be part of a dynamic team committed to water safety education, exceptional guest experiences, and community engagement.
