Job Description

Summary The ideal candidate will oversee the daily operation of the Pool Club while maintaining a friendly and positive attitude, be able to enthusiastically deliver extraordinary service while enforcing rules and modeling positive behaviors and maintaining a safe environment. Essential Functions Job duties include, although are not limited to:
  • Train, develop and support pool valets, hosts, locker room attendants.
  • Create schedules and direct work assignments.
  • Interview and select top talent for the Pool Club Recreation team.
  • Provide guidance for improvement and implements necessary adjustments for consistency.
  • Attend mandatory meetings including divisional meetings, departmental meetings, and staff meetings.
  • Responsible for the care, maintenance, and inventory of all equipment used.
  • Monitor use of the facility and address and/or report potential hazards.
  • Understand, follow, and enforce all company policies and procedures.
  • Performs related duties as required/assigned by the Recreation Manager.
Internal Relationships Reports to:
Manager, Recreation External Relationships Daily contact with associates, members, and guests.
Qualifications:
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace. Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. Must possess moderate computer skills. First Aid and CPR certified. Education/Experience Requirements Three years minimum Management experience. Must be able to supervise, direct, and manage a staff of 30 to 40 employees at once in multiple locations. Physical Requirements Work tasks are performed indoors and outdoors. Position requires walking and giving direction most of the working day. Must be able to exert a well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously. Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, swimming, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity. Must be able to set up program activities which may include lifting and moving items weighing up to 30 lbs. frequently.
