The main function of the General Manager (GM) position is to manage and control the day-to-day operations of the club according to set policies, procedures, and business practices. This person is responsible for the supervision of the Assistant General Manager, and all front desk customer service, maintenance, and fitness training personnel of the gym and accountable for achieving the desired goals and expectations of the gym. This position reports directly to the Regional Manager. The new club opening General Manager will be responsible for assisting in the setting up new clubs and may also assist in the training of permanent club managers. Travel in the Broward County Florida area will be required. This role may also be required to support existing clubs and cover shifts as needed. The ideal candidate will have proven management experience in a fitness, gym or similar environment. You must possess strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team in a fast-paced environment. Honesty and integrity must be paramount in all that you do.
