POOL AND BEACH MANAGER
Luxury Resort • Caribbean • Competitive + Service Charge
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are searching for a Pool and Beach Manager for a luxury resort in the Caribbean. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for the overall day-to-day operation of the resort's beach and pool areas, ensuring a safe, immaculately presented, and exceptional guest experience at every touchpoint. The right person thrives outdoors, leads by example, and understands that the small details are what define a truly memorable stay.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Oversee daily beach and pool operations, ensuring seamless, high-touch service throughout the day Lead, train, schedule, and motivate the beach and pool team to consistently exceed guest expectations Ensure all areas, chairs, umbrellas, towels, cabanas, and surroundings are impeccably maintained and presented Monitor and respond to guest needs proactively, delivering personalised service and resolving concerns professionally Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and safety standards across all beach and pool areas at all times Conduct regular inspections and coordinate with Engineering, Housekeeping, and F&B on maintenance or operational matters Manage inventory and ensure adequate supplies are always available Support special events, private functions, and VIP arrangements Maintain accurate operational records and communicate issues to management promptly
WHAT YOU BRING
Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience within a luxury hotel, resort, or beach club environment Caribbean experience is essential and will be weighted heavily in the selection process Forbes Travel Guide experience is mandatory A genuinely energetic, physically active approach to leadership, this is an outdoor role that demands stamina and presence Strong leadership and team development skills with the ability to motivate and inspire Excellent guest relations and communication skills Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities with the ability to remain calm under pressure Knowledge of pool and beach safety and hospitality standards Proactive, decisive, and operationally strong, someone who takes ownership without requiring significant direction Lifeguard or pool safety certification is a strong asset Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
WHAT'S OFFERED
Competitive salary plus service charge of approximately USD $1,000 - $2,000 per month, depending on hours and occupancy Housing allowance provided Medical insurance Transportation provided
