Full Job Description Position Title:
Lifestyles Activity Manager - Independent Living Exciting full-time opportunity for a creative and detail-oriented individual to make a difference in the lives of Seniors in a vibrant Senior Living Community. Under the direction of the Lifestyles Director, designs and schedules diverse recreational programming and events for Independent Living Residents. Job Duties Works as part of the Lifestyles Team to provide programs and services that promote Resident engagement and enhance quality of life Schedules and supports performing arts programming Creates, plans and executes recreational and social programs based on Resident interests Serves as liaison to the Resident Activity Committee and supports Resident led groups Coordinates large all-campus special events Creates calendar of events utilizing Community Communication App Publicizes Lifestyles programs and other relevant information via printed and digital communication Required Skills Desire to serve the Senior community Ability to effectively communicate with Residents and Associates in individual and group settings Strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration Knowledge of AV equipment operation, including photography and video Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication Computer skills with ability to utilize a variety of apps to support programming Other Qualifications Ability to work a flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends Program and Event Planning experience required; experience in Senior activities Bachelor's degree preferred This organization does not discriminate in hiring or employment on the basis of ancestry, race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, military status, veteran status, or disability.
