You'll recruit and mentor talent, optimize the schedule for performance, and champion a culture that delivers the Ultimate Fitness Experience to every member, every time.
What You'll Do Program Leadership:
Build and maintain a monthly group fitness schedule that meets diverse member needs; promote cross-training and new formats.
Team Management:
Recruit, audition, hire, onboard, coach, evaluate, and manage instructors; lead regular department meetings and continuing education.
Operations & Coverage:
Ensure proper class coverage (subs/backup), teach classes as needed within monthly limits, and keep front desk and members informed of updates.
Member Experience:
Communicate class changes and announcements; coordinate and promote at least one department event per quarter.
Quality & Compliance:
Observe classes, deliver quarterly evaluations, maintain current certifications for all staff, and uphold safety standards and reporting.
Data & Performance:
Track attendance for every class; analyze capacity, cost per head, and usage trends to improve results.
Systems & Admin:
Maintain the online schedule, instructor roster, and payroll submissions; manage inventory and equipment repair requests. What You Bring Demonstrated success leading group fitness programs and teams.
National group fitness certifications; experience auditing classes and delivering instructor development.
Familiarity with fitness scheduling systems and KPI tracking (attendance, capacity, cost per head).
Excellent communication, coaching, and people leadership skills.
Strong organization and attention to detail; comfortable with scheduling and basic reporting.
Member-first mindset with the ability to handle challenging situations with tact.
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
